Your privacy

Last updated 7 October 2026

The short version: this site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. The only information we hold about you is what you choose to send us, such as an email or course feedback, and what you give Gumroad if you buy a course.

Who we are

Codifyit (codifyit.co.uk) publishes practical courses in code, data and finance. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us about anything on this page at hello@codifyit.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies. The interactive parents' course saves two small items in your browser's local storage, only so that it works:

They're strictly necessary for a service you've asked for, so they don't need your consent. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, though you'll then lose your progress and need to enter your key again.

Fonts and third parties

Our fonts are hosted on this site, so pages make no requests to Google Fonts or other font services. Pages don't embed third-party scripts or social media widgets. Links to Gumroad take you to Gumroad's own site.

Course videos are played by Bunny.net's video player, embedded in the course pages. When you play a video, Bunny.net receives technical information such as your IP address so it can stream the video to you, under its own privacy policy.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes technical information such as your IP address when it serves a page, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use this to identify you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hello@codifyit.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, for example by adding analytics, we'll update this page and the date at the top first.
